Post advancement works an eradication of things to come that prompts the love of this. So what Fukuyama declared the finish of historicismSome thoughts of progressive school progress or usage of the unfriendly impacts of innovation. Post-advancement is along these lines a disappointment, and strikingly fleeting: it is difficult to be right now, or comparatively radical â⬠¦ is the rule of agelessness. There is likewise a genuine immersion of social developments. At long last, theory, postmodernism attests in his study of innovation and the appropriation of monism solid independence. I. Brief depiction of innovation Advancement is truly brought into the world with the Enlightenment scholars who accepted that ââ¬Å"man is the proportion of all thingsâ⬠(humanism). He dismissed the position and convention and replaces them with reason and science. God and religion are ousted. The cutting edge mind accept information as available to the human soul. Information is sure, goal and well and should prompt advancement. Current man has supreme confidence in his objective limits. Through perception, experience and reflection, one can find reality. The school is a spot overflowing with the local condition for progress. Instruction must free the person from the thin and nonsensical that it forces on his interests, his family and society to be available to discerning information. II. What is post innovation? At the end of the day, postmodernism is a way of thinking that says no target truth or supreme, especially when managing religion and otherworldliness. In the encounter with reality with regards to the truth of God and strict practice, the post-present day point of view is delineated in the explanation that ââ¬Å"what is valid for you, itââ¬â¢s not for me.â⬠The term ââ¬Å"postmodernismâ⬠implies truly ââ¬Å"after modernismâ⬠and is utilized rationally to portray the present period, which came after the time of innovation. Postmodernism is a response (or maybe more suitably, a wry reaction ) broken guarantee of innovation from the utilization of human explanation alone to better humankind and improve the world a spot. Since the conviction that advancement has been the supreme exists, postmodernism tries to ââ¬Å"correctâ⬠things by taking out the unadulterated fact of the matter and that everything (counting the experimental sciences and religion) comparable to an individualââ¬â¢s convictions and wants. III. The traverse innovation to post advancement Innovation has been portrayed by an expanded information in all territories. Globalization and the Media Development emphasizd this marvel. The sense and sanity appear to contradict. The fantasy proceeds with progress has been shaken by two universal wars, the Holocaust, the advancement of patriotism, by the dread of atomic pulverization, corruption of the earth. Execution of innovation is dehumanizing. The explanation is viewed as an instrument of intensity and control, which smothers the subject, his emotions, creative mind, intuitionâ⬠¦ Bit by bit, the positive thinking of innovation will offer approach to upsetting and bafflement. Post-current present both as a dismissal and an abundance of advancement. IV. The difficulties of advancement for post Christian Doctrine The threats of postmodernism can be viewed as a descending winding that started with the dismissal of essential fact of the matter, which prompts lost qualifications in issues of religion and confidence, lastly finishes in a way of thinking of strict pluralism that says no confidence or religion is unbiasedly evident and along these lines no one can guarantee that their religion is valid and the other is bogus. The finish of the rule of reason Advancement was the explanation the last symbol, the lady who was to succeed where all others had fizzled (universe, religion, custom, nation â⬠¦), which was to prevail with regards to bringing together the know. Its disappointment is a sign symbols and end in another time of post innovation. This disappointment additionally raises doubt about the very thought of progress. Relativism ââ¬Å"To every hello own fact! This expression impeccably portrays post advancement. Relativism follows from the finish of the icons, the bringing together rule of the absence of information. Information isn't sure, goal and great, everyone has returned to himself to figure out what is valid. Presently, truth is abstract, thatââ¬â¢s what sounds good to me. Doubt of power Since no authority is truly meaning it follows a general doubt of all types of power. The hyper independence Humanism has been related with innovation has started on the marvel of individualization. With the finish of the rule of reason, relativism and doubt of power, with the need to distinguish itself, the wonder is developing again â⬠¦ You would then be able to discuss hyper independence. The hyper-independence is specifically the significance of individual experience and offers pride to the emotions. ââ¬Å"I feel in this manner I amâ⬠! The mutilation of language The language is misdirecting. Everybody can give another importance to a word. There is no reference to the most well-known that gives genuine importance to the words. In such manner it is intriguing to take note of that word references of a wide range of innumerable blossoms each dayâ⬠¦ More Choices This element, effectively present in innovation as bringing about specific from a superior information and their heterogeneity, additionally increments. Increase called the multiplicationâ⬠¦ The significance existing apart from everything else At this very moment! Since the past is hopelessly lost, since the very chance of progress has no legitimacy, in light of the fact that the future has nothing to offer, it must be lived and live seriously. A feeling of misery While the rule of reason, idealism and eagerness are molding, post innovation sees the development of another mentality. Good faith slowly offers approach to negativity and distrust and cynicism and even sadness. The arrival of religion The inquiry that emerges is the thing that religion is sheThree principle highlights show up. Initially it is a strict guide (at every one of its strict). At that point there is likewise a strict explanation behind denying a jump into the nonsensical (confidence without reason can there be?). At last, the arrival of religion positively mirrors the powerlessness of man to live without conviction End To rehash my improvement, postmodernism is relativism. Postmodernism is a response against the structures of coherent truth of current idea that gave us recommendations on the total nature, time, space, science, know capacity, the repeatability of the analysis, consistency, and so on innovation created science , innovation and medication, he assisted with delivering an agreeable and unsurprising society â⬠in which individuals will in general become careless, agreeable and unsurprising. Be that as it may, there are consistently individuals who pose inquiries instead of aimlessly follow business as usual. They search for various methods for articulation, various understandings of truth, to show the possibility that fact isn't really total, and that reality can be reworked. The Hidden Players of Demonstrated Interest FAFSA and ACT
In a recent post, guest author and independent college consultant, Steven Mercer, described ways in which students can ââ¬Ëdemonstrate interestââ¬â¢ during the application process to improve their odds of acceptance. Admission officers are human beings with a limited amount of time, so it stands to reason that they would prefer to shrink their application pools to those candidates most interested, and therefore, most likely to matriculate. By tracking activities that correlate with matriculation (e.g. scheduling a formal tour, attending college-hosted informational sessions, participating in university-led social media campaigns, etc.) admission officers are able to more accurately build an incoming class. The jury is still out regarding the fairness of demonstrated interest (DI). Many colleges dodge DI entirely for fear that it will add a layer of gamesmanship to the application process. Students not privy to the nuances of DI, especially those who do not have access to adequate counseling, may be at a disadvantage. However, a strong counter-argument can be made from the vantage point of highly selective schools, where admit rates are dwarfed by the annual deluge of applications. DI offers an efficient way to sift through paperwork and push eager and committed applicants to the top of the fray. The conundrum of the ââ¬Ëburdened admission officerââ¬â¢ at a selective college is outlined in this Forbes article. For both practical and marketing purposes, schools want to have low acceptance rates (i.e. high selectivity) and strong yields (i.e. a large percentage of accepted students who wind up going). To be cheeky, the Forbes article analogizes admission officers to anxious teens on a hot date: like nervous teens asking a would-be paramour outthey want to know how much you like them, whether your application is just an idle flirtation, or whether thereââ¬â¢s a real chance for a long-term relationship. But even with DI policies lending a helping hand, folks in admission would love to have better powers of discernment. The natural question arises, why donââ¬â¢t colleges just ask applicants about their preferences? The simple answer: they are not allowed. In fact, the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) authored a document entitled the Statement of Principles of Good Practices, which defines permitted means of communication between universities and applicants. Of primary importance is article II.B.2, which states that members of NACAC , including 1,400 universities, will not require students to report or rank their college preferences beyond the parameters of Early Decision. FAFSA and Demonstrated Interest Still, enrollment professionals continue to hunt for the golden metric that will allow them to boost selectivity and yield. One such metric, an open secret within admission circles, derives from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When students complete the FAFSA, they are asked to list all of the schools to which they will be applying; this list is then transferred to collegesââ¬â¢ enrollment and financial aid offices. Coincidentally, analysts have found a moderate correlation between the order of schools listed on the FAFSA and studentsââ¬â¢ preferences for attendance. Of course, this correlation is completely nullified for students who deliberately alphabetize their lists. Using the FAFSA rankings is a necessary risk that some universities are willing to take, particularly in an age where it is de rigeur for students to submit dozens of applications many of which are perfunctorily sent to ââ¬Ësafety schools.ââ¬â¢ ACT and Demonstrated Interest A more obscure but similarly controversial admission metric comes from the ACT (ironically, it has nothing to do with test scores). At the SuperACAC conference in Reno, a high-ranking ACT rep revealed that the order in which a student lists schools on her score report a free service availed during the registration process is used as an index of student interest. The higher a schoolââ¬â¢s position on the report, the greater a studentââ¬â¢s desire to attendor so the fable goes. This came as a great shock to conference-goers, a group comprised of well-informed, school-based counselors and private consultants. They were understandably miffed: Why hadnt they been informed of thisà cryptic trick used by admission offices? Had their student advisees missed (or ruined) an opportunity by using ACTââ¬â¢s free reports? Much like the FAFSA issue, dissenters argue that utilizing the ACT rankings enforces a tacit gaming of the application that further disadvantages the uninitiated, especially underprivileged students. How to Safeguard Your Students Against Undesirable Data Usage Compass is an advocate of transparency in all aspects of the admission process not just testing. Consequently, we want our colleagues and clients to decide for themselves whether or not to engage in the FAFSA/ACT game. Here is our suggested playbook: When completing the FAFSA: List colleges in alphabetical order to hide any whiff of preference. If you are concerned that schools will wrongly assign value to the top of your alphabetized list, do the following Submit the FAFSA for a single school (letââ¬â¢s call it ââ¬ËSchool Aââ¬â¢) and then re-submit the FAFSA for additional schools. After the first application is processed for School A (which will take a day or two), go back into the FAFSA, delete School A, and add School B. School B will then have access to your information but wonââ¬â¢t see that you previously listed School A. Repeat this process as many times as you need to. (This procedure is outlined on the FAFSA website.) When submitting ACT scores: Do not use the complimentary score notification service during the registration process. Wait to send scores individually ($12-$16.50 per school) after you receive your results. In addition to concerns of ââ¬Ëinterest,ââ¬â¢ Compass advises families not to use the complimentary notification service in case test results are unexpectedly poor. Well-prepared students typically have an opportunity to re-test and post an official score that redeems testing blemishes. You can always speak with a Compass director to determine your specific plan for testing and how and when to submit test scores.

The Effects Of Domestic Violence Towards Women - 2023 Words
Domestic violence towards women is a problem that is often overlooked by society. Violence is defined in Webster s Dictionary as: ââ¬Å" Physical force employed so as to damage or injure. As an instance of violent action.â⬠(Webster) If this is the case, then why is it that so many women are beaten by loved ones each year? And little or nothing is done to correct this violent situation? A battered woman is pictured by most people as a small and flimsy person who might once have been pretty. She has many small children, no job skills or very little, and is financially dependent on their husband. It is often expected that she is poor and from a minority group. Although some battered women do fit this description, research proves it to be a false stereotype (Barnett 78). In fact most battered women have highly profitable jobs such as doctorââ¬â¢s lawyers, CEOââ¬â¢s and teachers. Most are heavy-set women whose assets are controlled by their husbands and they cannot defend themselves physically (Barnett 64). Battered women are found all race, religious and moral backgrounds as well as age groups and education levels. Leadership in Health Care
Question: Describe about the difference between Leaders and Managers and pandemic situation handling capacity of leaders. Answer: Leadership Leadership is defined as the skill of a person which helps him to inspire and motivate his team to achieve their organisational vision (Simons Leroy, 2013). It is the responsibility of a leader to manage his team member and control the resource utilisation in order to achieve the goal. In a health care department, a good leader should be decisive, influential, problem-solving attitude to provide good health care services. Difference between Leaders and Managers Health care administration leadership and health care management are quite similar but differ in their skill. Leaders focus on the standard of health care service, whereas managers concentrate on the model of health care service. Leaders have a particular vision, and they inspire others to achieve that vision by arranging resources. On the contrary, managers try to achieve the best result from the available resources (Simons Leroy, 2013). Pandemic situation handling capacity of leaders During a pandemic outbreak, health care administration leadership plays a vital role in controlling the situation. During the development of a pandemic, the leaders should enrol themselves in impact analysis, quick and efficient decision making and take necessary action. The leaders should manage the information flow through all health departments which includes bio-surveillance, clinical assistance and health care experts (Baekkeskov, 2014). Leaders must have coordination with all health care centres (private or government) for the latest pandemic updates. To tackle these pandemic situation leaders should try to arrange the necessary health care equipment, drugs, technical support and financial assistance. Leaders need to take requisite decision and action to prevent the transmission of the pandemic infection to nearby areas (Baekkeskov, 2014). References: Baekkeskov, E. (2014).
